Gracias a las lluvias generadas el pasado fin de semana, las presas del Sistema Cutzamala se encuentran a un nivel de llenado del 38.6 por ciento, según la Conagua.

CDMX. 21 de febrero de 2024. ‘Tláloc, me has mirado a los ojos’… Después de las fuertes lluvias registradas el pasado fin de semana, la Comisión Nacional del Agua (Conagua) informó que las presas del Sistema Cutzamala se recuperaron, además de que la sequía extrema que enfrenta México disminuyó.

La Conagua explicó, en un comunicado, que gracias a las lluvias generadas por los frentes fríos, del 31 de enero al 15 de febrero, el nivel de llenado de las 210 principales presas de México, que en conjunto tienen la capacidad de almacenar 92 por ciento del agua del país, se mantienen en 50 por ciento al 19 de febrero de 2024.

Es decir, en los siete días más recientes el volumen de agua total pasó de 63 mil 759 millones de metros cúbicos (Mm3) a 63 mil 113 Mm3.
